Mastering Email Marketing was something I accidentally discovered when I was managing events at a ski resort.My event emails stopped being sent out after the resort was restructured. I attended school for Industrial Design, so I learned basic Photoshop skills. I started designing emails, but they weren’t being constructed.
Like most millennials, I had a MySpace. I knew some HTML/CSS basics and was able to create email templates. Before I knew it I was managing the email program, building content calendars and segmenting 12 business units across a multimillion-person database. Pierson Krass was my Co-Founder after 2 years at the resort. I decided to join the agency with him to manage email strategy for more than 10 brands.
After spending a year with the agency, I was ready for NYC.
